The Blue Dahlia is a 1946 American film noir, directed by George Marshall and starring Alan Ladd, Veronica Lake, and William Bendix. The film was based on Raymond Chandler’s novel The Blue Dahlia. The story revolves around the murder of a man’s wife and the subsequent investigation which leads him to suspect everyone around him.
