The Stardust is a short story by author Neil Gaiman. It follows the story of a young man named Tristran Thorn who lives in the town of Wall. Tristran is in love with a girl named Victoria Forester and, in order to win her hand, he sets off on a quest to find a fallen star. Along the way, he encounters a variety of creatures, including witches, ghosts, and a dragon. Ultimately, he is successful in his quest and returns to Wall with the star.
