Neil Gaiman is a world-renowned author of fantasy and horror novels, graphic novels, and short stories. He is best known for his Sandman series of graphic novels, which has been adapted into a television series, and for his novel American Gods, which was adapted into a television series. Gaiman has also written for film and television, including the Doctor Who episodes “The Doctor’s Wife” and “Nightmare in Silver.” He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Hugo, Nebula, and Bram Stoker Awards, and he was the first author to win the Newbery and Carnegie Medals for the same work, The Graveyard Book. Terry Pratchett was a British novelist and humorist best known for his Discworld series of fantasy novels. Pratchett was the recipient of numerous awards, including the Carnegie Medal, the World Fantasy Award, and the Locus Award.
