Amy Harmon is an American journalist and author. She has written for The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today, among other publications. Her first novel, The First Wife, was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. Her second novel, The Law of Moses, was a New York Times bestseller. Her third novel, The Song of David, was released in October 2019.

What the Wind Knows is a novel by Anne McCaffrey. It is the first book in the series of the same name.
The book tells the story of a young woman named Anne McCaffrey who is transported back in time to the Ireland of the early twentieth century. There, she meets a man named Sean O’Casey and falls in love with him. However, Sean is already married to another woman, and Anne must contend with the fact that she may never be able to return to her own time.
The book was well-received by critics and was a bestseller. It won the Hugo Award for Best Novel in 1992.
