War and Remembrance is a novel by Herman Wouk, published in 1978. It is the sequel to The Winds of War, and the last book in the “Wouk trilogy” that began with The Caine Mutiny.
The novel covers the period from June 1942 to May 1945, and focuses on the lives of Victor “Pug” Henry and his family, as they experience the events of World War II from the Allied home front, the Battle of the Bulge, and the Holocaust.
War and Remembrance was ranked at number four on the New York Times Best Sellers list for fiction.
There are many reasons why listeners might be interested in the War and Remembrance.
