There is an interesting association with the The Time of Contempt and the historical event known as the Great Schism. The Great Schism was a split within the Catholic Church that lasted from 1378 to 1417. During this time, there were two popes, one in Rome and one in Avignon, each claiming to be the true head of the church. The Time of Contempt is set during this time period, and its protagonist, Geralt of Rivia, is a Witcher who is caught in the middle of the conflict.
Peter Kenny’s voice is very special. It is very calming and soothing, yet it has a strength and power that can be very inspiring.
