This is an excellent series that I would highly recommend to anyone. It is well written and narrated, and keeps you guessing until the very end.
The Stranger in the Woods is a book by Michael Finkel about a man who lives alone in the woods for 27 years. The man, Christopher Knight, is a hermit who steals food and supplies from nearby homes and campsites in order to survive. Knight is eventually caught and sentenced to jail time, but he remains unapologetic for his actions. The book chronicles Knight’s life in the woods and his interactions with the outside world.
Michael Finkel’s writing style is both engaging and informative. He has a knack for making complex subjects accessible to a wide audience, and his writing is often praised for its clarity and brevity. Finkel is also known for his use of literary devices such as metaphor and simile, which help to bring his stories to life. by Michael Finkel
“The Stranger in the Woods” is a fascinating account of the life of Christopher Knight, a man who lived in the woods of Maine for 27 years without being detected. Michael Finkel does an excellent job of piecing together Knight’s story through interviews with those who knew him and through Knight’s own journals.
The result is a compelling portrait of a man who chose to live a life of solitude in nature. Knight’s story is ultimately a sad one, but it is also a fascinating glimpse into the mind of a man who chose to live outside of society.
