The series of work of Tana French revolves around the lives of a group of Irish police detectives. The series began with the novel In the Woods, which follows the lives of two detectives, Rob Ryan and Cassie Maddox, as they investigate the murder of a young girl. The series continued with The Likeness, which follows the life of another detective, Stephen Moran, as he investigates the murder of a university student. The series has also been adapted into a television series, which aired on RTE in Ireland.

The Searcher is a novel about a man named John who goes on a journey to find his missing brother. Along the way, he meets a variety of characters, including a woman named Sarah who helps him on his quest.
