Carrie Fisher was an American actress, writer, and producer. She was best known for her role as Princess Leia in the Star Wars films. Fisher died on December 27, 2016, at the age of 60.

Fisher was born on October 21, 1956, in Beverly Hills, California, to singer Eddie Fisher and actress Debbie Reynolds. She had two older half-sisters, Joely Fisher and Tracy Fisher.
