The Opal Deception

The Opal Deception is the fourth book in the Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer. In this book, Artemis is trying to track down the missing fairy Opal Koboi. Meanwhile, the fairy police are also trying to find her in order to put her on trial for her crimes.

I would say that the characters are what make this book special. They are all so well-developed and three-dimensional. I also love the way the story is told from different points of view.

The Opal Deception inspires listeners because it is a story about a girl who is able to overcome her fears and find her true identity.
