There is no definitive answer to this question as preferences for music vary widely from person to person. However, some recent trends in music listening habits include streaming music online, using music streaming services such as Spotify or Apple Music, and listening to podcasts.
There are many reasons why one might choose The New Jim Crow as a book to read. Some might choose it because they are interested in the history of race relations in the United States, or in the history of the civil rights movement. Others might choose it because they want to learn more about the current state of race relations in the United States. Still others might choose it because they are interested in the issue of mass incarceration, or in the issue of race and the criminal justice system. Whatever the reason, The New Jim Crow is an important book that provides a wealth of information on these topics.
I have only read part of the book but one of the most shocking things I’ve learned is that 1 in 13 black men is in jail. This is an incredible statistic and a testament to the systematic racism that exist in our country.
I recently finished the book and it is absolutely amazing. It is so well researched and the writing is superb. It is a must read for anyone who wants to understand the racism that is ingrained in our society.
