The Last Tribe is the third and final book in The Last Kingdom series by Bernard Cornwell. The series tells the story of Uhtred of Bebbanburg, an English nobleman who is captured and raised by the Danes. Uhtred eventually sides with the English, and leads them into battle against the Danes. The Last Tribe picks up where the previous book, The Empty Throne, left off, with Uhtred leading the English army against the Danish king, Cnut. The Last Tribe is a heart-pounding, action-packed conclusion to The Last Kingdom series that will leave readers satisfied.
