The characters in The Last Seance are all people who have died, so they are all ghosts.
Vicky McClure (Line of Duty)
What a voice. So brassy and authoritative that it commands attention. It’s a voice that also has a lovely warmth. It’s a voice that’s instantly recognisable.
She’s one of those actors who just seems to pop up everywhere, but who always seems to play the same kind of person. I’ve been trying to find a role she’s played that showed off a different side of her talent, but I can’t think of one.

Sian Phillips (I Claudius)
I’ve always had a soft spot for the The Last Seance. When I was a kid, I thought the scene where Fenella is reunited with her parents at the seance was really touching. I loved the way she wondered whether they could hear her.
And I loved the way she said she missed them too. I thought it was a really lovely performance.

Fenella is a very talented actress and she is also very beautiful. I think she is one of the best British actresses out there. She is very down to earth and I love her work.
