Julie Kagawa is an American author of young adult fantasy novels. She is best known for her Iron Fey and Blood of Eden series.
Kagawa was born in Sacramento, California and raised in Hawaii. She graduated from Leeward Community College with an Associate of Arts degree in English.
Kagawa’s debut novel, published in 2010, was Iron Fey: Winter’s Passage. The novel was followed by three sequels, Iron Fey: Call of the Forgotten, Iron Fey: The Iron Daughter, and Iron Fey: The Iron Queen.
In 2012, Kagawa published the first novel in her Blood of Eden series, titled The Immortal Rules. The series continued with The Eternity Cure in 2013 and The Forever Song in 2014.
Kagawa’s other works include The Lost Prince, Talon, and Shadows of the Apt.
Kagawa’s novels have been translated into over thirty languages and have sold millions of copies worldwide.
