Gary John Bishop is a Scottish-American self-help author and motivational speaker. He is the author of the international bestseller, Unfu*k Yourself: Get Out of Your Head and Into Your Life. The book has been translated into over 30 languages and has sold over two million copies worldwide.
Bishop is also the founder of Unfu*k Yourself Enterprises, a company that provides self-help and motivational products and services. He has been featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Today Show, and CNN. He has also been a guest on numerous radio shows and podcasts.
Bishop was born in Glasgow, Scotland and emigrated to the United States with his family when he was four years old. He grew up in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in counseling from the University of Pennsylvania.
Bishop began his career as a counselor and therapist. He later transitioned into the field of self-help and motivational speaking. He has been sharing his message of self-empowerment with audiences around the world for over 20 years.
