Stone of Tears

Terry Goodkind is an American writer, best known for his work in the fantasy genre. He has written over twenty novels, including the best-selling The Sword of Truth series. Goodkind was born in Omaha, Nebraska, and grew up in Long Island, New York. He began writing in high school, and his first novel, Wizards First Rule, was published in 1994. The Sword of Truth series follows the story of Richard Cypher, a young man who discovers that he is the rightful heir to the throne of the Midlands, and must stop the tyrannical ruler of the Midlands, Darken Rahl, from conquering all of the lands. Goodkind’s other works include the novels The Law of Nines and The Omen Machine, as well as a number of short stories and non-fiction essays.*

The series of work that will be written is a collection of essays that explore the concept of the American Dream. The essays will examine the history of the American Dream, its evolution over time, and its impact on American society. Additionally, the essays will explore how the American Dream has been used to justify different forms of inequality and oppression, and how it has been used to challenge these same systems.

The Stone of Tears is the second book in Terry Goodkind’s epic fantasy series The Sword of Truth. After being tricked into releasing the evil wizard Richard Rahl from imprisonment, Kahlan Amnell and her new wizard friend, Richard, must find a way to stop him from unleashing a magical plague that could destroy the world. To do so, they must find and destroy the magical Stone of Tears. Along the way, they are joined by Zeddicus Zu’l Zorander, the First Wizard of the Midlands, and Cara, a fierce and deadly Mord-Sith warrior. Together, they must use all of their skills and abilities to stop Richard Rahl and save the world.
