Start with Why

Simon Sinek is a British-American author, motivational speaker, and business consultant. He is best known for his TED Talk on “The Golden Circle” and his books Start With Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action and Leaders Eat Last: Why Some Teams Pull Together and Others Don’t.

Sinek was born in Wimbledon, London, in 1973. His father was a management consultant and his mother was a schoolteacher. He was educated at the American School in London and then at the City University of New York, where he graduated with a degree in law.

Sinek began his career as a management consultant, working for companies such as McKinsey & Company and Booz Allen Hamilton. He then transitioned into the world of marketing and advertising, working for companies such as Ogilvy & Mather and Euro RSCG.

In 2009, Sinek gave a TED Talk on “The Golden Circle,” which became one of the most popular TED Talks of all time. In this talk, Sinek explains how companies can inspire people to take action by starting with why they do what they do.

In 2011, Sinek published his first book, Start With Why: How Great

The book was written to inspire people to do what they love.
