This series is about a woman who finds a box of cursed objects and must find a way to break the curse before it destroys her life. The story is suspenseful and fast-paced, and the narrator does a great job of bringing the characters to life. I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a good mystery.
The Second Hand Curses is a five-piece punk rock band from Detroit, Michigan. The band was formed in 2011 by guitarist/vocalist Mikey G, bassist/vocalist Shawn P, drummer Paul M, and guitarist/vocalist Joe A. The band has released two EPs, “The Second Hand Curses” (2011) and “Better Off Dead” (2012), and a full-length album, “The American Way” (2013). The band is currently unsigned.
Drew Hayes’ writing style is characterized by its humor and lightheartedness. He often employs pop culture references and sarcasm to make his points, which can make his work enjoyable to read. However, some readers may find his style to be too juvenile or flippant.
Drew Hayes’ Second Hand Curses is an interesting and unique take on the traditional curses and hexes story. The book follows the life of a young woman named Paige as she tries to break free from her family’s curse. The story is well-written and the characters are well-developed. The plot is fast-paced and the ending is satisfying. Overall, I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to others.
