Mark Lawrence is a British fantasy author who is best known for his “Broken Empire” trilogy. He has also written the “Red Queen’s War” trilogy, the “Prince of Thorns” trilogy, and the “Book of the Ancestor” series. Lawrence was born in 1966 in England and attended the University of Nottingham, where he received a degree in physics.
