Peter and the Starcatchers

There is nothing special about the characters of Peter and the Starcatchers.

The Peter and the Starcatchers books are a series of children’s novels by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, published by Disney Hyperion. The books are prequels to J. M. Barrie’s Peter and Wendy (1911), and follow the adventures of Peter Pan and the Starcatchers, a group of adults who are tasked with keeping magical starstuff out of the hands of evil forces.

The books have been adapted into two stage plays, Peter and the Starcatcher (2012) and Peter and the Starcatcher: The Lost Boy (2015).

The books are narrated by Jim Dale, who also voiced the audiobooks and the stage plays. Dale’s performance in the audiobooks was particularly praised, and he won a Grammy Award for Best Spoken Word Album for Children for the first book in the series.
