Julia Whelan is best known for her work on the television show Once and Again, where she played the role of Grace Manning from 1999 to 2002. She has also appeared in the movies The Ring Two and The O.C..

Whelan was born in Hartford, Connecticut, and raised in Los Angeles, California. She is the daughter of Penny (née Johnson) and George Whelan. She has two sisters, Jennifer and Lauren.
