I was on vacation with my family in Florida when I was eight years old. We went to the beach one day and I found a seashell that I really liked. I picked it up and put it in my pocket. Later that day, we went to a souvenir shop and I saw a necklace that I wanted. It was a gold chain with a seashell on it. I asked my mom if I could get it and she said yes. I was so excited! I put the necklace on and I loved it. I wore it every day for the rest of our vacation.

I still have that necklace. It’s one of my favorite souvenirs. I wear it sometimes when I’m thinking about our vacation. It always brings back happy memories.
