Kenobi: Star Wars Legends

John Jackson Miller is an American science fiction writer, comic book historian, and entrepreneur. He is the author of over twenty-five novels, including the New York Times bestselling Star Wars: Kenobi, and the Star Trek: Prey trilogy. He has written comics for DC, Marvel, and Dark Horse, and is the creator of the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom comic book series. He is the founder and CEO of the comics and pop culture website, Fanbase Press.

Miller was born in Madison, Wisconsin, and raised in the small town of Stoughton. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a degree in history in 1995. After working in politics and as a newspaper reporter, he moved to California to pursue a career in writing.

Miller’s first published novel, Star Wars: Kenobi, was released in 2014. The novel debuted at #1 on the New York Times bestseller list, and remained on the list for five weeks. His Star Trek: Prey trilogy was published from 2015-2017, and also debuted at #1 on the New York Times bestseller list.
