Sir Terry Pratchett was an English author of fantasy novels, especially those of the Discworld series. He was the UK’s best-selling author of the 1990s, and has sold over 85 million books worldwide in 37 languages. Pratchett received multiple honorary doctorates and was awarded a knighthood for services to literature. He died in 2015 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
There is no set series of work that will be written, but rather a continuous string of work that will be released over time. The work will be a mix of short stories, novels, and novellas, all of which will be set in the same world. This world is a dark and gritty one, where the strong prey on the weak and there is no such thing as justice. There is only survival.
Hogfather is the main character in the Discworld series. He is a jolly, fat man who brings presents to children on Hogswatchnight. He is very similar to Santa Claus, but instead of a sleigh, he uses a flying pig.
