In the story Hate Notes, a young woman named Elise begins receiving hate-filled letters in the mail. The letters are anonymous and filled with hateful language directed towards her. Elise is disturbed by the letters and begins to worry about who is sending them. She starts to suspect that someone she knows is behind the letters, but she can’t be sure. Elise begins to feel paranoid and isolated, and the hate notes start to take a toll on her mental health. Ultimately, Elise is able to identify the person who has been sending her the hate notes and she is able to get the situation under control.
