Hammered

Kevin Hearne is the author of the urban fantasy series The Iron Druid Chronicles. The series follows the adventures of Atticus O’Sullivan, the last of the Druids, who owns a bookstore in Tempe, Arizona. Hearne has also written a number of short stories, which have been collected in two anthologies.

Hearne began his career as a writer of science fiction and fantasy, but he soon found his niche in urban fantasy. His debut novel, Hounded, was published in 2011 and was an instant bestseller. Hearne has since published six more novels in the series, with the most recent, Scourged, being released in 2016. Hammered is a novel by author D.K. Hamilton. The book follows the story of a young blacksmith named Jovan who is drafted into the king’s army to fight in a war against a neighboring kingdom. Jovan is hesitant to fight, but he is eventually convinced by his friends and fellow soldiers to do his duty. The novel is set in a medieval-style world and follows Jovan as he battles his way through the enemy kingdom. Along the way, Jovan must overcome his own fears and doubts, as well as the obstacles put in his path by the enemy.
