Golden Son is the second novel in the Red Rising trilogy by Pierce Brown. It was published on January 6, 2015.

The novel continues the story of Darrow, a young man from the lowest caste in a future society who has been recruited by a revolutionary group to overthrow the ruling class. The novel picks up shortly after the events of the first book, Red Rising.
