The God Is Not Great is a book by British author and journalist Christopher Hitchens. In the book, Hitchens criticizes organized religion and makes the case that it is not only unnecessary but harmful to society.

Some other books by Christopher Hitchens that I would recommend are “The Missionary Position: Mother Teresa in Theory and Practice”, “The Trial of Henry Kissinger”, and “God is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything”. All three of these books are extremely well-written and provide a lot of food for thought.
