Dannika Dark is a pseudonym for USA Today bestselling author Dannika Lewis. Dannika has always been creative, dabbling in design, music, and photography. Day One: The series begins with a young woman, Sarah, who has just moved to New York City. She is excited to start her new life, but she quickly realizes that the city is not what she expected. The streets are dirty and the people are rude. She meets a man, John, who helps her navigate the city and introduces her to the other residents of her new apartment building.
Day Two: Sarah begins to settle into her new life in NYC. She goes on a date with John, and they explore the city together. They visit the top of the Empire State Building and walk through Central Park. Sarah starts to feel more at home in the city, and she starts to make friends with her new neighbors.
Day Three: Sarah’s new life is disrupted when she receives a call from her family back home. Her father is ill, and she needs to return home to take care of him. Sarah is torn, but she knows she needs to go home.
Day Four: Sarah says goodbye to John and her new friends as she prepares to return home. She is sad to leave, but she is also excited to see her family again. She promises to keep in touch with her new friends and to return to the city
