Dark Disciple: Star Wars

Christie Golden is a New York Times bestselling author who has written over fifty novels and several short stories in the fields of science fiction, fantasy, and horror. Golden was born in 1963 in Decatur, Illinois. She received her B.A. in English from the University of Colorado in 1985. Golden began her professional writing career in 1988 when she sold her first short story to Twilight Zone magazine. Her first novel, In the Rift, was published in 1991.

Golden is best known for her work in the Star Wars and World of Warcraft universes. She has written over a dozen novels set in the Star Wars universe, including the Fate of the Jedi and Dark Nest trilogy, as well as several short stories. Golden’s World of Warcraft work includes the novels Lord of the Clans, Rise of the Horde, and Arthas: Rise of the Lich King. Golden has also written tie-in novels for the TV series Stargate SG-1, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Star Trek: Voyager.

There is no set series of work that will be written, but I anticipate writing several blog posts and articles on the topic of mental health and creativity. I hope to explore the ways in which mental health can impact creativity, and vice versa. Additionally, I hope to provide some tips and tricks for managing mental health in a creative field.

The Dark Disciple series follows the story of Asajj Ventress, a former Sith warrior who turns against her masters after being betrayed. Ventress joins the Jedi Order in an attempt to atone for her past, but finds herself drawn back into the dark side by a new threat: the Sith Lord Darth Maul.

Ventress must choose between her new life as a Jedi and her old one as a Sith, as she confronts Maul in a battle that will decide the fate of the galaxy.
