Agatha Christie is a world-renowned mystery writer who is best known for her 66 detective novels and 14 short story collections, as well as the world’s longest-running play, The Mousetrap. Born in Torquay, Devon, in 1890, Christie began writing crime fiction while working as a nurse during World War I. Her first novel, The Mysterious Affair at Styles, was published in 1920 and introduced the now-famous detective Hercule Poirot.
Christie’s novels have sold over two billion copies and have been translated into more than 100 languages. Her works have been adapted for the stage, screen, and radio, and she is considered one of the most influential writers of the 20th century. Christie was made a Dame of the British Empire in 1971 and was awarded the Order of the Companions of Honour in 1974. She died in 1976, at the age of 85.
“The Chronicles of Narnia” is a series of seven fantasy novels written by C. S. Lewis. It is considered a classic of children’s literature and has been translated into 47 languages. The books tell the story of the land of Narnia, a fantasy world of magic, beasts, and talking animals. The series is set in the fictional world of Narnia, a land inhabited by magical creatures. The books follow the adventures of various children who visit or are transported to Narnia. In the final book, The Last Battle, Narnia is destroyed and its inhabitants are transported to a new world.

“Endless Night” is set in a small village where a young couple is building their dream home. However, the construction of the house uncovers some dark secrets, and soon the couple is in danger. Miss Marple is once again called in to help, and she must uncover the murderer before it’s too late.
