Agatha Christie is one of the most famous mystery writers of all time. She is best known for her 66 detective novels and 14 short story collections, as well as the world’s longest-running play, The Mousetrap. Her books have sold over two billion copies and have been translated into over 100 languages. She is the only mystery writer to have been published in every major language.

Christie was born in 1890 in Torquay, England. She began writing detective stories while working as a nurse during World War I. Her first novel, The Mysterious Affair at Styles, was published in 1920. It introduced the character of Hercule Poirot, who would become one of her most popular characters.

Christie’s novels are known for their clever plots, red herrings, and surprising endings. Many of her stories have been adapted for film and television, including And Then There Were None, Murder on the Orient Express, and The Witness for the Prosecution.

Christie died in 1976 at the age of 86. Her last novel, Sleeping Murder, was published posthumously.

If there is a series of work that will be written, introduce it here.
