In the story, the main character Alex is struggling with burnout from her job. She is constantly tired, her work is piling up, and she is starting to feel like she can’t keep up. One day, she comes home from work to find her husband in the kitchen, cooking dinner. He asks her how her day was, and she responds by telling him that she is feeling burnt out. He asks her if she wants to talk about it, and she says no. She then goes to her room and tries to take a nap, but she can’t fall asleep. She gets up and goes to the kitchen, where her husband is still cooking. She tells him that she can’t do this anymore, and she is going to quit her job.
