Peter H. Diamandis is an American engineer, physician, and entrepreneur. He is the founder and executive chairman of the XPRIZE Foundation, and the co-founder of Singularity University. He has also founded or co-founded a number of other organizations, including Zero Gravity Corporation, the Rocket Racing League, and Human Longevity, Inc.

Steven Kotler is an American journalist and author. He is a contributing editor for Forbes magazine and a regular contributor to The Huffington Post. His books include The Rise of Superman: Decoding the Science of Ultimate Human Performance, Abundance: The Future Is Better Than You Think, and Bold: How to Go Big, Create Wealth and Impact the World.

There is no set series of work that will be written for this class. Instead, students will be asked to choose their own topics to write about, based on their interests. They may write about anything they like, as long as it is appropriate for the class. Some possible topics could include: their favorite books, movies, or TV shows; something that happened to them recently; or their thoughts on a current event.
