Beyond the Highland Mist is a fantastic series that tells the story of a group of friends who are all trying to find their way in the world. The characters are all incredibly relatable and the story is very engaging. The series is definitely worth a listen!
Beyond the Highland Mist is a book by Karen Marie Moning. It is the first book in the Highland Lairds series. The book was first published in 1999. It is very different from the average writing style used nowadays. There is more description in the book than average and it also pulls you in emotionally more. The author has a way with words and knows how to keep you riveted to the page.
What did you like best about this story?
I liked that it was a different take on the typical fairy tale. I also liked the characters and how they were developed throughout the book.
Which character – as performed by Kate Reading – was your favorite?
Kate Reading did an excellent job with the narration. She was able to bring the characters to life and make them believable.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes
In Beyond the Highland Mist, Karen Marie Moning tells the story of a modern woman who travels back in time to medieval Scotland. The heroine, Hannah, is a strong and independent woman who is not afraid to speak her mind. She is also a very sensual woman, and the author does a great job of portraying her sexuality. The hero, Declan, is a Scottish lord who is attracted to Hannah from the moment he meets her. The two of them have a strong connection, and they eventually fall in love. The author does a great job of creating a believable and romantic story. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys historical romance novels.
