Between Breaths

There is nothing special about the characters of Between Breaths.

My daughter, Samantha, is the Elizabeth Vargas of the Between Breaths project. She has the voice, the face, the story. She is the one who keeps me going.

I have been a fan of Vargas since she was on Good Morning America. She is a beautiful, intelligent woman. I have always admired her. I am so happy she has found success at ABC News. She is a great role model for all women. Thank you, Elizabeth.

The Between Breaths has received critical acclaim from many publications. The book was a finalist for the National Book Award, and won the PEN/Hemingway Award and the Los Angeles Times Book Prize.
