Besieged

Kevin Hearne is an American author of urban fantasy and epic fantasy novels. He is best known for his Iron Druid Chronicles series, which follows the adventures of Atticus O’Sullivan, a Druid who is over two thousand years old. Hearne has also written several stand-alone novels, including Hounded and Hexed.

Hearne began his career writing in the Star Wars expanded universe, before turning to original fiction with the publication of Hounded in 2011. Since then, he has published nine novels in the Iron Druid Chronicles series, as well as several stand-alone novels and novellas. His work has been well-received, with critics praising his world-building and sense of humor.

Hearne currently lives in Arizona with his wife and two children.

Besieged is the third book in the House of Night fantasy series by P.C. and Kristin Cast. The series follows the adventures of Zoey Redbird, a young girl who is marked as a fledgling vampire and is sent to the House of Night boarding school in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In Besieged, Zoey and her friends face their greatest challenge yet as the world around them is threatened by an evil force. With the help of their newly appointed teacher, Aphrodite, they must learn to harness their powers and work together to save the world from destruction.
