“The Lesser Evil” is a short story by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski. It was first published in English in the collection The Last Wish, and later collected in Sword of Destiny.
The story follows Geralt of Rivia, a witcher, as he is hired by a village mayor to deal with a monster that has been terrorizing the town. However, when Geralt arrives, he finds that the monster is actually a werewolf. Geralt is then faced with the decision of whether to kill the werewolf or let it go.
ultimately, Geralt decides to let the werewolf go, as he believes that killing it would be the lesser evil.
The characters in this feature are a group of individuals who have been brought together by circumstance and must work together in order to survive. The feature content focuses on the group’s struggle to survive and their efforts to find a way out of the situation they are in.
Geralt from The Witcher books is very similar to Jaskier from The Last Wish in that they are both carefree and easygoing individuals despite being surrounded by chaos and violence. Both characters are also incredibly talented at what they do and have a strong sense of justice.
Sapkowski’s Baptism of Fire is the third book in his Witcher series, and it is just as action-packed and engaging as the first two. Geralt of Rivia, the titular witcher, is once again called upon to save the world from a great evil, this time in the form of a group of fanatical vampires. The story is fast-paced and exciting, with plenty of twists and turns to keep readers guessing. Sapkowski’s characters are rich and three-dimensional, and the world he has created is richly detailed and believable. This is a great addition to the Witcher series, and fans of the series will not be disappointed.
