I thoroughly enjoyed this series. It was very well written and the narrator did an excellent job. The story was fascinating and I loved the futuristic setting. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone who enjoys science fiction. It is a science fiction novel by American writer Richard K. Morgan.

The novel is set in a future where people can transfer their consciousnesses to other bodies, and follows the story of Takeshi Kovacs, a former soldier who is brought back to life in a new body to solve a murder.

The book was adapted into a television series of the same name, which was released on Netflix in 2018.

Richard K. Morgan’s writing style is characterized by its focus on action and violence. His novels often feature protagonists who are struggling against overwhelming odds, and his prose is fast-paced and often brutal. Morgan is also known for his use of dark humor, and his novels often explore the dark side of human nature.

Richard K. Morgan’s Altered Carbon is a cyberpunk noir that follows Takeshi Kovacs, a former soldier who has been imprisoned for 250 years, as he is brought back to life to solve a murder. The book is full of action, violence, and sex, and Morgan’s writing is tight and fast-paced. The world-building is excellent, and the characters are well-drawn and believable. The plot is twisty and complex, and the ending is both satisfying and surprising. This is a dark, gritty, and exciting novel, and I highly recommend it.
