“R.C. Bray is an excellent narrator and this book was a great story. I don’t usually like books with a lot of violence and the beginning of this book was kind of violent. The band was formed in 2004 by three school friends, bassist Sam Dick, guitarist George Morley and drummer, Kevin Chalmers. The following year, they were joined by singer, Jake Brown, formerly of the band, Day One (www.myspace.com/dayoneuk).
In 2006, the band recorded their first EP, ‘The After It Happened’, with producer, Steve Lyon (Depeche Mode, Paul McCartney, Pet Shop Boys). The EP was warmly received and led to the band performing at venues all over London, including Barfly, The Fly and The Bull & Gate. The EP was also supported by airplay on local radio stations, including BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio.
In late 2008 the band began working on their first album and returned to Steve Lyon to produce. The album, ‘The After It Happened’, was released in early 2010 and was supported by an extensive press and radio campaign.
The After It Happened are currently working on new material for their next release. Their last UK tour was in 2012, but with two new albums in the works
