There are a few things that stand out about the characters in A Tale of Two Cities. First, they are all incredibly complex. There are no clear-cut heroes or villains, which makes the story all the more interesting. Second, the characters are all incredibly passionate. They feel things deeply and are willing to fight for what they believe in. This makes for an exciting and emotional story.

“A Tale of Two Cities is an epic novel with a complex plot, multiple characters and a wide cast of supporting characters, and so it is a perfect candidate for the audio book treatment. Richard Armitage does an outstanding job with the narration, keeping the many characters straight as he spins a compelling tale of love, intrigue and betrayal.”
—Fiction Addict
“This is my first experience with Richard Armitage’s voice in an audiobook, but I think it will not be my last. He has a wonderful voice, with a deep, rich timbre, and he is a master of the art of the audiobook. He is able to bring new life to this novel, and to raise it to new heights.”
