A Little Hatred

Joe Abercrombie is a British fantasy writer. He was born in 1974 and grew up in Bath. He studied psychology at the University of Sussex and then worked as a freelance journalist and editor. His first novel, The Blade Itself, was published in 2006. It was followed by two sequels, Before They Are Hanged and Last Argument of Kings, which make up the First Law trilogy. Abercrombie’s next series, The Shattered Sea trilogy, consists of Half a King, Half the World, and Half a War. His most recent series is The Age of Madness trilogy, which includes A Little Hatred, The Empire of Ashes, and The Desolation of Blackeberg. Abercrombie has also written a stand-alone novel, Red Country.

A Little Hatred introduces a new level of hatred and bigotry to the series. This time, the focus is on a group of white supremacists who have taken over a small town in Oregon. They are led by a man named Richard Spencer, who is a self-proclaimed “Nationalist.” The group’s goal is to create a “white ethno-state” where only white people are allowed to live. They are armed with firearms and are not afraid to use them. They have already killed one person and have terrorized the town. The townspeople are scared and don’t know what to do. The sheriff is powerless to stop them. The only hope is a group of armed citizens who are willing to fight back.
