A Higher Call tells the story of two World War II fighter pilots, one American and one German, who display extraordinary courage and humanity during a time of war. On December 20, 1943, the two pilots collided in mid-air over Germany. The German pilot, Franz Stigler, could have killed the American pilot, Charlie Brown, but instead he chose to help him. This act of mercy changed both men’s lives and helped to bring about a greater understanding between the two enemies.

I think that the A Higher Call is a great book. It is a story about two men who were able to put their differences aside and work together for the common good.
