There is nothing particularly special about the characters in the book. However, the author does a good job of making the reader feel as if they know the characters and their motivations. is the other book of the year for me.

It is a book about WWII written by a veteran and it is the best book ever written about that war. It is a story about the Marines fighting in the Pacific and it is about the most brutal fighting in history. It is also about the human spirit and the courage of the men who fought in that war.

I have read a lot of books about WWII, but this is the best one I have ever read. It is a must read for anyone who is interested in that war.

The story is about a young man, Harold and his experience in the Vietnam War. He is drafted into the army and sent to Vietnam. Harold is not really sure what he is fighting for, but he knows that he does not want to be there. He is scared and does not want to die. Harold is also very naive and does not understand what is going on around him. The book is very well written and I think that it is a great story. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in the Vietnam War.

2. The book is based on the author’s experiences as a Marine during World War II, including the Battle of Guadalcanal, and provides a rare insight into the brutal realities of combat.

3. The book has been praised for its realistic and unsentimental portrayal of war, and has been used as a reference by historians and military scholars.

4. The With the Old Breed was adapted into a television film in 1979, starring William Devane as Sledge.
