The Iron Druid Chronicles is a series of urban fantasy novels by Kevin Hearne published by Del Rey Books. The series follows Atticus O’Sullivan, the last of the Druids, who owns a bookstore in Tempe, Arizona. The novels in the series are: Hounded (2011), Hexed (2012), Hammered (2013), Tricked (2014), Trapped (2015), and Hunted (2016).

Hounded is a feature-length documentary that follows the lives of three professional dog sledders as they compete in the world’s most prestigious dogsled race, the Iditarod. The film gives an inside look at the training, preparation, and dedication required to compete in such a grueling event, as well as the challenges faced by the dogs and their handlers along the way.

The characters in Kevin Hearne’s books are often compared to those in other fantasy series, such as “The Lord of the Rings” and “The Chronicles of Narnia.” Hounded is the first novel in the Iron Druid Chronicles series. It was published in 2011.

Hounded is a fun and fast-paced read that introduces readers to the world of the Iron Druid Chronicles. Atticus O’Sullivan is a 2100-year-old druid who is trying to live a quiet life in Arizona, but when he attracts the attention of the Celtic god of death, he must use all of his skills to stay alive.

The novel is action-packed and full of humor, and readers will quickly become invested in Atticus’s story. While there is some violence, it is not overly graphic, and overall, this is an enjoyable read.
