Hanya Yanagihara is a critically acclaimed American novelist. Her debut novel, A Little Life, was published in 2015 and was a finalist for the National Book Award. Her second novel, The People in the Trees, was published in 2013.
Yanagihara was born in Hawaii and raised in New York City. She graduated from Barnard College and received an MFA from Columbia University. She has worked as an editor at several publishing houses, including Knopf and Alfred A. Knopf. She is currently a staff writer at T: The New York Times Style Magazine.
The series of work that I will be writing is called “The Chronicles of Narnia”. It is a series of seven books, written by C. S. Lewis. The first book, “The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe”, was published in 1950. The last book, “The Last Battle”, was published in 1956. The books tell the story of the land of Narnia, a land of magical creatures, talking animals, and heroic children. The series has been very popular, and has been made into several movies.
A Little Life follows the lives of four friends – Willem, Jude, Malcolm, and JB – from their days as students at an elite New York City university through their careers and complicated adult lives. The novel is set against the backdrop of New York City and explores themes of friendship, love, trauma, and forgiveness.
