Mary Elizabeth Braddon was a prolific and popular writer in the Victorian era. She is best known for her novel Lady Audley’s Secret, which was considered scandalous at the time for its depiction of a woman’s sexual desires and ambitions. Braddon was born in London in 1835, the daughter of an actress and a gambler. She had a troubled childhood, and was sent to live with her grandparents in the country when she was six. She was educated at home and later in France. When she was sixteen, she returned to London and began working as a governess. She met her future husband, John Maxwell, when she was eighteen. They married in 1856, despite the fact that he was already married to another woman. Braddon and Maxwell had six children together. Braddon began writing novels in the 1860s, and Lady Audley’s Secret was published in 1862. It was an instant success, and Braddon went on to write over fifty novels in her lifetime. She died in 1915.

The Christmas Hirelings was written during the Civil War.

The Christmas Hirelings is highly rated because it is a supportive community that helps its members with whatever they need. There is always someone around to help out, whether it is with advice, support, or just a friendly chat. The community is also very active, with new members joining all the time.

The possible turnover from selling the The Christmas Hirelings could be high. The book was a bestseller when it was first released, and it has been reprinted several times. It is currently out of print, but it could be reprinted again if there is enough demand.
