In Academ’s Fury, protagonist Atticus O’Sullivan is an Irishman who was born in 1773. He is the last of the Druids, and has the ability to wield magic. When he is betrayed by his former friend and mentor, Atticus is forced to go on the run. He eventually ends up in the American colonies, where he meets a woman named Granuaile. Together, they fight against Atticus’s former friend and the dark forces that he has aligned himself with.
